Ab Fat Loss – What’s the Answer?


It can be easy to think that when you are watching that latest infomercial with the fitness model showing how easy a new ab machine is to use, that it’s the only way to get abs that look like the models. When in reality, if you want to lose ab fat then concentrating on stomach exercises can be the worst thing you can do. Ab fat loss is more than exercising the abs.

So what is the Answer to Ab Fat Loss?

Well this probably won’t surprise you too much but the answer is diet and exercise. No short cuts, no secret tips, just plain old hard work and eating correctly. This is because you cannot spot reduce fat on the body. It is the body that decides where it is going to burn fat from. So the answer is to burn calories and eventually the body will start using the stomach fat as energy.

Will Exercising the Abs Help?

Well yes it will, to some extent. The reason we mentioned that concentrating on ab exercises is a bad idea is because all you are doing is building ab muscles. This means your ab area will be getting larger and you can appear to be more overweight. You might already have abs that are hidden underneath your fat, so you don’t need to do lots of ab exercises.

What you need to do is to workout a healthy nutrition and exercise plan that guarantees you are burning more calories than you are consuming. Because that is the only way to get your body burning some of the stored fat it has placed on your body.

An overall fat loss reduction is what you should be aiming for, not just trying to lose fat around your stomach area. That is the key to ab fat loss and it will happen eventually, you just have to be patient and stick to your exercise and diet plan. Just keep on burning more calories than you are consuming and you are almost guaranteed to start burning fat fast.
