The caveman diet plan is quite a new diet plan and is quite similar to the Paleo diet. It is called the ‘caveman’ diet because it relates to eating things that are completely natural and would have been available to cavemen when they were around. It basically involves eating only natural foods and nothing that is processed or filled with chemicals.

So the types of foods you will be eating on the caveman diet plan are going to be lean meats, fruits, vegetables and nuts. But the difference is that nothing is added to these foods, so you won’t use salt, butter or oil when making them. You prepare them and eat them without adding any unhealthy items.
The diet consists of eating these meals regularly. Just consume them in small amounts and have 3 or 4 meals a day. This keeps your metabolism constant and means your body will be burning more calories naturally. If your metabolism slows down then your weight loss will decrease, so it’s important to keep it constant.
